Sonnet c. 1920

The first few decades of the 20th Century brought a “colonial revival” back to quilt making. Women were eager to create quilts in this style to decorate their homes. Appliqué became an important element of quilt design, but common patterns also included Dresden Plate, Double Wedding Ring and Grandmother’s Flower Garden designs. Sara named this collection Sonnet, inspired by the soft florals, fluttering butterflies and swirling ribbons. She has captured all the romance of favorite vintage patterns and colors and created a well-coordinated group of enchanting designs to correspond beautifully with one another.

This collection is expected to ship February 2019.
